DESCRIPTION; Moderate fluting line extension, into the stylobate, is seen under columns 2 and 3. Light, but sharp, step deviation is seen under columns 5, 6 and 7. The offset direction is 190 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – diagonal die crack through Lincoln’s forehead.
Reverse is MDS – die chip in the upper part of column 1, with a die crack run into the cornice above bay 1.
Stage “C”, obverse is LMDS – die crack in Lincoln’s forehead remains.
Reverse is LMDS – Die chip with die crack has developed on column 4.

DESCRIPTION: Strong fluting line extension, into the stylobate, is seen under column 1, 2 and 3. Moderate, sharp step deviation is seen under columns 5 through 8, with an offset direction of 190 degrees.

Reverse is MDS – die gouge above the right base. Die gouge above the left base. Die gouge is seen on the lower left of column 1.

DESCRIPTION: Light trail lines from the tops of the T, T and E of STATES. Light trail lines from the tops of the letters in PLURIBUS, with an offset direction of 270º.
DIE MAKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none observed.
Reverse is MDS – die gouge to the right of the N in ONE. Die gouge to the right of the N in CENT.
NOTE: This die was found by Steven Bingham.

DESCRIPTION: Short, strong trail lines are seen from the top left corners of columns 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Also seen are trail lines from the left scrolling on the cornice. The offset direction is 330 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – a die gouge is seen in the middle of the second zero in the date.
Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the left corner of the left urn traveling into the 4th column.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen on the MER of AMERICA, the EPU and the lattice work on the right cornice. The offset direction is 350 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is LMDS – three small die dots are seen below the S of TRUST
Reverse is LMDS – three die dots are seen in and around the O of ONE. A small die gouge is seen below the M of AMERICA. A die dot is seen in bay 10.
