DESCRIPTION: Light fluting line extension, into the stylobate, under columns 2 and 3. Light step deviation is seen under columns 5, 6 and 7, with emphasis on the left side.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – die gouge to the right of the 4 in the date.
Reverse is LDS – small die gouge below the E of STATES. Die gouges in the U of UNITED.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate step deviation is seen under columns 5 through 8, with emphasis on the left side.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – small die gouge in front of Lincoln’s nose.
Reverse is MDS – small die gouge under the left side of the C in CENT. There is the beginning of a formation of a die chip in bay 1.

Reverse is MDS – die gouge between the E of ONE and the C of CENT. Die gouge between the A and M of AMERICA.
