DESCRIPTION: Moderate, multiple fluting line extensions, into the stylobate, under columns 10, 11 and 12. Faint fluting line extension is seen under column 9. Very faint step deviation is seen under column 8. An unusual die since all the strength is seen on the right side of the die.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none observed
Reverse is MDS – die damage in the cornice over column 5. Die dot in the upper left part of bay 10.

DESCRIPTION: Faint trail lines are seen under the URI of PLURIBUS and under UNUM. The offset direction is 160 degrees. This die was found by Jeremy Gardner of Kentucky.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – two small die gouges under the first zero in the date.
Reverse is MDS – small die gouge in the lower triangle of the N in ONE.

DESCRIPTION: Isolated trail lines are seen on the M, E and C of AMERICA. The offset direction is 090 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – small die gouge to the left of the G in GOD. Small die gouge is seen on the right side of the O in GOD.
Reverse is LDS – small die gouge over the T of CENT

DESCRIPTION: Moderate trail lines are seen from the top right corners of the letters in EPU. Also seen are faint trail lines from the middle scrolling in the cornice. The offset direction is 030 degrees.

Reverse is MDS – a small die dot is seen on the second tier of the stylobate to the left. A small die dot is seen in the lower portion of bay 1. A die crack is seen in the lower part of column 12.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate trail lines are seen from the top right corners of the letters in EPU and the entire scrolling on the cornice. Also seen are trail lines on the last S of STATES and the F in OF. Not pictured but also seen are trail lines on the N of ONE.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – a die break is seen on the first zero of the date. The two zeros in the date are connected by a small die crack.
Reverse is MDS – a small die dot is seen in bay 3 immediately above the left URN.

The secondary set of trails, with an offset direction of 060 degrees can be seen from the top right corners of the letters in the EPU. This set maybe the return path for the die correcting itself to its former position.
