DESCRIPTION: Light trail lines are seen from the left top corners of the letters in PLURIBUS and UNUM. Also seen are fain trail lines from the word OF and the first A of AMERICA.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – two die cracks are seen in Lincoln’s head.
Reverse is MDS – a die chip is above the first column in the cornice. A die crack is seen in the top of column 3.

DESCRIPTION: Light trails are seen from the top left corners of the letters in PLURIBUS and UNUM. The offset direction is 330 degrees. This die is also accompanied with 2007P-WHDER-001, a working hub “wavy step”. This is seen as indents in the stairs and the stylobate under columns 5, 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – Long, diagonal die scratch in front of Lincoln’s bust.
Reverse is MDS – die scratch from the second U in UNUM to the roof.

DESCRIPTION: Isolated trail line is seen on the lower portion of the E in CENT. Also seen is a crossover over trail line on the lower left of the E in ONE. The offset direction is 060 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LMDS – none noted.
Reverse is LMDS – die cracks are seen from the tops of columns 1, 2, 3 and 4. Die crack in the cornice over bay 3 and 4. Die crack from the tip of the left cornice into the field. Die crack with die chips in the base of column 3.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate step deviation is seen under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8. The offset direction is 180 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen next to the rim under the right side of Lincoln’s bust.
Reverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen next to the left leg of the N in CENT

DESCRIPTION: Multiple directional trail lines are seen from the letters in the EPU. The first set has an offset direction of 030 degrees, while the second set has an offset direction of 150 degrees. This is a nice example of a dual directional trail die and it is considered to be a major die.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – a small die dot is seen under Lincoln’s nose
Reverse is LDS – two vertical die scratches are seen between the R and I of AMERICA.

DESCRIPTION: This is a dual directional trail die. The first set of trail lines can be seen on the first A of AMERICA and the NT of CENT. This set of trail lines has an offset direction of 260°. The second set is a reciprocal of the first set and can be seen on the NT of UNITED and the T of CENT. The offset direction is 080°.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – none noted
Reverse is MDS – die scratching is seen in bays 2, 3, 4 and 5. A die gouge is seen in the bottom of bays 6 and 7.
