DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – a small die dot is seen under the O of GOD.
Reverse is MDS – a small die gouge is seen to between the rim and the left base of the memorial building.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the bottom of the letters in UNITED. Step deviation is seen in the Memorial building stairs under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8. The offset direction for all trail lines is 160°. This die is in combination with 1988P-1WHDER-001 and 1988P-1DEO-006T.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “A “, obverse is EDS – none noted.
Reverse is EDS – small die gouges are seen below the last S of STATES and the E of ONE.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the E of ONE, the ENT of CENT, the designer’s initials and the right base corner of the Memorial building. The offset direction is 120°. This die is in combination with 1988P-1WHDER-001 and 1988P-1DEO-007T.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “A“, obverse is EDS – die scratching is seen coming off Lincoln’s bow tie and under his chin.
Reverse is EDS – a die gouge is seen just to the left of the first S in STATES.

DESCRIPTION: A die similar to 1988P-1DER-008T, Trail lines are seen from the tops of the letters in EPU. Also seen is a single trail line from the last S in STATES. The offset direction is 000 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, Obverse is LDS – Die scratches throughout the entire obverse. See marker photos for specific locations of these scratches.
Reverse is MDS – A small group of heavier scratches under the ED of UNITED. Light N-S die scratches to the left of the memorial.

1988P-1DER-015T 000º
DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the motto EPU, the O in OF and the M in AMERICA. Slight indications of trail can also be seen on the TATE of STATES. The offset direction is 000º.
Reverse is MDS – die scratches can be seen in and around the NITE of UNITED. Die scratches can also be seen through the letters NE of ONE.
