DIE MARKERS: Stage “A“, obverse is LDS – small die gouges are seen under Lincoln’s nose, to the left of the mint mark in the collar of Lincoln’s coat and under the R of LIBERTY.

DESCRIPTION: Slight distortion can be seen on the tops of the letters in the motto EPU. Also seen are faint trail lines from the scroll work in the Memorial building roof and the tops of the right side columns. The offset direction is 010º.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – none noted.
Reverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen between the E of ONE and the C of CENT. A series of small die gouges can be seen under the last A of AMERICA.
