DIE MARKERS: Stage “C“, obverse is LDS – a die crack is seen in the ribbon holding Washington’s queue, terminating just above the second L of DOLLAR.
Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the Minnesota map’s left edge to the rim.

DESCRIPTION: Numerous, moderate trails can be seen from, THE QUALITY STATE, MING of WYOMING, 1890, the cowboys face, the pommel on the saddle, the horse’s mane, E . PLURIBUS . UNUM and the date. The offset direction is 120 degrees. This is by far the strongest trail die encountered on a quarter.
