Reverse is EDS – two joined die gouges are seen above the left base tip.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate trail lines are seen from the bottom left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 200 degrees. This die is coupled with a reverse trail die; 2008P-1DER-004WS
DIE MARKERS: Stage “A”, obverse is EDS – a light die crack is seen from Lincoln’s brow up to his hair line.
Reverse is EDS – light die scratches are seen in and around the EPU.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the bottom right corners of the IBRTY of LIBERTY, Lincoln’s nose and lips and the 2 digit of the date. The offset direction is 160 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is EMDS – several large die cracks are seen in Lincolns hair and forehead.
Reverse is EMDS – a die chip is seen in the lower part of column 2. Another smaller die chip is seen in the lower portion of column 3.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – a small die scratch and gouge are seen in the N of IN.
Reverse is MDS – two separate die cracks are seen in the top of column 2. A die crack is seen in the cornice above bay two.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C“, obverse is LDS – a die crack is seen in Lincoln’s forehead. Another die crack with die chips runs across the top of Lincoln’s head.
Reverse is LDS – a die chip is seen in the top of column 1. A die crack is seen in the top of column 2.
