Reverse Trail Dies On Dimes

DESCRIPTION: Moderate trails from the bottoms of the letters in DIME. Also a single trail is seen from the middle of the M in UNUM. This die was found by Bill Slaughter of Arkansas.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – short die scratches from Roosevelt’s upper lip to his lower lip.
Reverse is LDS – die scratch just to the left of the E in ONE.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the bottom of STATES. The offset direction is 200 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, Obverse is LDS – die gouge above the 1st 9 of the date.
Reverse is LDS- Heavy die gouge from the I and through the T of UNITED. Heavy die gouges through the ME of DIME.

DESCRIPTION: Trails can be seen from the tops of the letters E PLURIBUS UNUM, from the tips of the flames in the torch as well lightly from the olive leaves. The off-set direction of the trail lines are 005 degrees. This die can be found in Mint Sets.

DESCRIPTION: This has 4 sets of trails impacting much of the reverse. The offset directions are: 055° (light green arrows) DIME, oak leaf stem, UNUM; 155° (light blue) URIBUS, olive stem, E from ONE; 270° (red) torch, of AMERICA D of DIME; & 288° (yellow) TES of STATES.

DESCRIPTION: Very strong trails are seen coming off of the flame tips. Lighter trails are seen from the olive leaves and bottom of the ES of STATES. (Marked with black arrows)
DIE MARKERS: A deep die scratch/gouge runs through the upper part of ATES. (Marked with blue arrows.) The Obverse die is slightly misaligned.
